Felina Intimates: Trendy, Affordable Lingerie for the Sophisticated Woman
BY CORA HARRINGTON

For decades now, Felina Lingerie has an incredibly well-known name within the lingerie industry. Founded by the Zarabi family in 1982, Felina Intimates is currently owned and run by Robert Zarabi. Since the very beginning, Felina has been about bringing beautiful lingerie to American customers at a competitive price point. The ideal Felina woman doesn’t just want affordable lingerie, she wants fine lingerie, and Felina bridges the gap between the pretty and the practical.

Every Felina collection is designed, developed, and fit in the US by a team of five designers. Laces, embroideries, and fabrics are sourced from all over the globe (including America, Europe, and Asia). Each piece of lace and/or embroidery is hand inspected and pattern matched, and every piece of lingerie is hand-finished. Seams are hand turned and double stitched. Hooks are backed with plush velour and micro fiber. Closures are secured with special strength stitches to guard against unraveling, and contour and push-up bras are lined in 100% cotton for comfort. Quality controls are done throughout the entire process to ensure consistency of construction, appearance, and fit.

When I was a beginning lingerie addict, Felina was one of the first lingerie brands I started buying. They were both accessible (I had no idea where to shop, but I could find Felina in most any department store) and affordable (a $40 bra was about my max at the time). But more than that, they were genuinely pretty. Sometimes inexpensive lingerie can be downright boring (if not just plain ugly), but these weren’t. Felina made pretty bras that I didn’t dread pulling out of my underwear drawer everyday.

Over the years, I’ve tried several Felina bras, but my favorite was always the Harlow. I liked the demi style and the sheer lace cups and the fact that it came in multiple fashionable colors every season. At only $36, it worked for my budget, but it didn’t look cheap, and it didn’t itch. Because we all know cheap, itchy lace is the worst. And since I’m pretty rough on my everyday lingerie (seriously, if I can’t throw it in the washing machine on delicate cycle, what’s the point?), I can also attest to how durable Felina’s bras are. It’s wonderful when you can find a brand that’s both inexpensive and good quality… bras that both wear well and last well. Whether you’re brand new to lingerie like I was or just looking for a new brand to try, it’s worth giving Felina a look. These are fashionable, versatile, timeless basics. I’ve been blogging for years, and Felina still offers many of their same core styles.

Bras range in price from $29 to $45. Matching panties range in price from $12 to $26. Bustiers range from $49 to $75, and garter belts/skirts from $16-$36. Bras are available in 32 thru 40 bands and A thru G cups while panties are available in sizes S thru XXLarge (fitting a max waist-hip measurement of 37-48″).

Are Felina Bras made in the US? I love your bras and want to continue to buy them but I have also
Made a personal decision to be more aware of where products are made. Thank you.
